Fortunately, I am no longer consumed by making sure I have enough hair powder on my hair to cover my thinning areas. I went to Dr. Cohen because my hair was thinning and I spent years agonizing about it. A friend sent me to Dr. Cohen, and he had me try Rogaine and then Nutrafol. He prefered to see whether we could get results with them. I admired that he waited two years and I had to bring up the subject of surgery. I screwed up my courage, and had the surgery a month ago. He is a masterful surgeon, and his staff is first-class.
My hair didn’t really show signs of thinning until age 70 which when I began to entertain the idea of hair restoration. Like so many, I was hesitant to make the decision so I researched doctors in Conn. I made the appointment to see Dr. Ivan Cohen in Fairfield for a consult. I can say I am glad it did. The visit was informative, professional and revealed I actually had more hair loss then I realized. We discussed options and I took a week to finally commit. The procedure was over four hours but my treatment was excellent by all the staff throughout the procedure. Follow-up questions were answered in a timely manner. After six months the outcome was great. After eight months even better.
I have gone through 2 transplant procedures with Dr Cohen and each time I was thrilled beyond belief!!! He is a true master of his craft. His staff was also amazing- like a finely tuned engine!
